Hi church,

Three things in the realm of evangelism to let you know about as we head towards Easter:

1. Prayer for our city in the lead up to Easter - Tuesdays 6.00 - 7.00 am starting tomorrow (locations below). ·       

  • Week 1 (Tues 14th March - tomorrow morning): Oceans Church
  • Week 2 (Tues 21st March): Living Water Anglican Church
  • Week 3 (Tues 28th March): Albany Baptist Church
  • Week 4 (Tues 4th April): Pioneer Family Church

Of course it is great to get together as a part of this, but more than that, when God's people pray God delights to move. Why not get up a bit earlier and come and pray for an hour before work or your day starts?

2. Who are you praying for to invite to Easter services? Think and pray about three people you could invite. An invite can be as simple as, "Hey, our church has some services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We're inviting our friends to hear what Easter is all about..." They may say no. But they might give it some thought. And if they rock up, they'll hear the gospel.

3. Alpha in Term 2. Planning to kick this off on Wednesday evening 26th April at ABC. Be praying about who you could invite along to this. I will also be approaching some Growth Groups to make this their thing in Term 2 to assist with catering, hosting and facilitating discussion. More details to come.

May God have mercy on our city and save more into His kingdom, using our humble efforts to that end.
