The good news really had made it to the ends of the earth when thirteen familes formed Albany Baptist Church in 1905. For the next 84 years the church would meet on Aberdeen Street where the church grew and flourished.
In 1988 ABC moved into our current site on Bethel Way, Yakamia. The parcel of land where we meet was divided to include the church, Bethel Christian School and Bethel Aged Care.
Today the church is made up of a diverse group of people including families, retirees, youth and young adults. This includes a wonderful mix of Australians from different cultural backgrounds including Filipinos, Karen, Noongars and South Africans. The richness of the diversity is only surpassed by the unity we enjoy by being focused together on Jesus.
